Sergei Tigipko said he considered Russia an aggressor, and Putin a war criminal who started the war against Ukraine. According to him, "there can be no other response today."

Quote: "Yes, I think. There can be no other answer today. Russia is an aggressor, and Putin is clearly a war criminal. Those who give orders to shoot and send missiles to our land are also war criminals.
Those who shell our cities, schools, orphanages, and hospitals from tanks and "Grad" multiple rocket launchers –those who press the "start" button– are also war criminals.
How much more blood and death do you need to see clearly? The war against Ukraine is madness and a global tragedy, which the Hague tribunal is already dealing with," said Tigipko.
When asked whether his business has financial interests in Russia, Tigipko said no.
When asked whether his business supports the Ukrainian army, he said:
"I will be concise: I did not leave Ukraine, I am staying here. I am convinced that today business cannot stand aside.
I believe that in such a difficult time for the country, everyone should do what they do well. The front of my team is financial. To organise the work and coordinate actions, we have established an operational response headquarters in the TAS Group.
We help the army with the purchase of equipment, we help the territorial defence with ammunition and food supplies, we help those who are forced to leave their homes.
I would also like to note that many of our employees are defending Ukraine with weapons in their hands. I have several hundred calls every day– and I need to respond quickly to each one. So, sorry– I do not have time for extensive comments. We need to do the real deed. We will talk about something else after the victory, which we are getting closer to thanks to our collective efforts. Everyone is in their place."
The EP asked such questions not only to Tigipko. Read about how businessmen spoke on the war in the article: The oligarchs are no longer silent. But not all. Who among the richest Ukrainians has not yet called Putin a criminal?
