Viktor Pinchuk, a Ukrainian businessman and oligarch, considers Russia to be the aggressor and Putin to be a war criminal who unleashed the war against Ukraine.

He said this in response to questions by Evropeyska Pravda (European Truth, EP).

Pinchuk also assured that his business, Interpipe Group, has no financial interests in the Russian Federation.

"Since April 2019, Russia has had a total embargo on Ukrainian pipes, and since February 2021, on railroad manufacturing. As of 1 November 2018, Viktor Pinchuk the individual and his companies are on Russia's sanctions list", Pinchuk stated in his response.

To the question of whether his business is supporting the Ukrainian army, his press service responded:

"Yes. Through their Foundations and companies and in close cooperation with the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence and volunteer organisations, Viktor and Olena Pinchuk are searching abroad for the purchase and supply of personal protective equipment for the military and territorial defence forces, including medical supplies and materials for severe injuries, including resuscitation backpacks and more. The work continues 24/7.

In addition, their industrial companies are working to support military units and territorial defence divisions. Over 370 anti-tank hedgehogs and 316 caltrops have been produced by INTERPIPE for the territorial defence of Kyiv, Dnipro, Nikopol and Novomos'kovs'k. The hedgehogs and caltrops have already been transported to set up defensive fortifications. The work continues".

"In cooperation with the operational headquarters, the companies are providing for the urgent needs of regional military units and territorial defence units. Fuel, pipes, metal, concrete blocks, slabs, nails, dishes, building materials, thermal underwear, etc. The world continues.

Eighteen temporary shelters have been set up on the companies' premises in Dnipro, Novomos'kovs'k and Nikopol, where over 8,500 people can go in case of artillery fire or airstrikes," the response to EP's questions.

EP posed these questions to more than just Pinchuk. Find out what businessmen had to say about the war in the article Oligarchs are no longer quiet. But not all of them. Which of the richest Ukrainians has yet to call Putin a criminal?
