400 people evacuated from Volnovakha after all

400 residents of Volnovakha, a town in the Donetsk Region of Ukraine, and surrounding villages were evacuated on Saturday, 5 March.

Quote: "These are the people who were able to get to the town on their own the day before and near whom the column of evacuation vehicles halted [before entering Volnovakha].

"Although today we intended and needed the transport to evacuate a much larger number of people, the convoy was forced to stop, as the Russian troops resumed ruthless shelling of Volnovakha - it was extremely dangerous to go there."

Details: All the evacuees are now being taken to a safe place.
