Khovnir said: "A rocket exploded over Okhmatdet in the evening. There was such a powerful explosion that it blew out the door in the central building and damaged the windows on the ninth floor. Thank God, the children were not hurt. We kept them in a bomb shelter.
Now we are evacuating ... We have evacuated a lot of children with cancer. We are planning to evacuate more children on dialysis."
Details: According to the hospital's director general, there are also many children in the department where heart surgery is performed. They have to be evacuated, and a convoy is being formed to go to western Ukraine.
An Okhmatdet doctor on duty said that due to the enemy blockade, doctors are unable to treat wounded children in settlements near Kyiv.
Visotskyy said: "In Europe, in a European city, we have received three requests to evacuate seriously injured children with gunshot wounds overnight. Two of them did not survive the night. This was because they were physically unable to get to specialist care. And one child will be evacuated by the father himself because there is no way to get out. How to describe it, by European standards... I don't even know how to".
