Details:  The preliminary list of prisoners of war consists of 116 people.

Most of the detainees are young people aged 20 to 30.

Representatives of various military ranks were taken prisoner– from ordinary servicemen to platoon commanders, mechanics, agents, etc.

At a meeting of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, one senator stated that Russian command had sent conscription soldiers to the war with Ukraine, and that only 4 out of a company of 100 had survived.

As of the morning of 4 March, the Ukrainian side reported 9,166 Russian military casualties.

Russia, on the other hand, recognized less than 500 killed in the war with Ukraine on 3 March. It should be noted that Russian forces brought mobile crematoria with them to Ukraine.

Additionally, Russian forces have not been taking away the bodies of their soldiers. For several days, Ukrainian authorities have been appealing to representatives of the Red Cross and the Russian Federation to remove the bodies of Russian servicemen from Ukrainian ground.

The Ukrainian railway has prepared 20 refrigerated carriages which, in total, could hold 10,000 bodies.
