"Moscow considers it an acceptable idea for Turkey to organise a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Russia and Ukraine at the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya," Gatilov said.

On 4 March, Turkish Foreign Affairs Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu proposed that Russian and Ukrainian Foreign Ministers Sergey Lavrov and Dmytro Kuleba meet at a Diplomatic Forum in Antalya. It is scheduled to take place from 11-13 March.

Çavuşoğlu said Lavrov had confirmed his participation in the forum.

Çavuşoğlu noted that Turkey has not closed its airspace to Russian planes. Last week, Lavrov was unable to fly to Geneva to attend a meeting of the UN Human Rights Council due to new travel requirements related to sanctions.
