Energoatom published a video showing the damage to the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) in Enerhodar as a result of last night's shelling by Russian invading forces.

Background:
- The nuclear power plant is currently controlled by the so-called Kadyrovites, a Chechen paramilitary group supporting the Russian Armed Forces.
- The Adviser to the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Vadym Denysenko, said that three Ukrainian National Guardsmen were killed in the fighting in Enerhodar.
- The Office of the President of Ukraine believes that the Russian command knew the grave risk to Europe that a large-scale tank attack on the Zaporizhzhya NPP posed.
- As of the morning of 4 March, only one reactor was operating at the station.
- The previous night, Kadyrovites opened fire on the Zaporizhzhya NPP building, causing a fire. The threat of a nuclear catastrophe was announced at the station.
