Russia’s military losses over the 8 days of its war with Ukraine have exceeded 9,000 soldiers, according to Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence

Details: According to estimates by the Ukrainian military, the total losses of the Russian military between 24 February and 4 March are as follows:
- Approximately 9,166 personnel
- 251 tanks
- 939 armoured combat vehicles
- 105 artillery systems
- 50 multiple rocket launchers
- 18 air defence units
- 33 aircraft
- 37 helicopters
- 404 units of automobile equipment
- 2 speed boats
- 60 fuel tanks
- 3 unmanned aerial vehicles
These numbers are being clarified. The exact count is difficult due to the high intensity of the military operations.
