G7 meeting: Leaders will discuss Ukraine and counteracting Russian aggression

Heads of the G7 countries’ foreign affairs departments will meet on Friday to coordinate their response to Russian aggression and to discuss the situation in Ukraine.

Details: The meeting is scheduled for 14:00 (Kyiv time) on Friday 4 March.
According to State Department spokesman Ned Price, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has already arrived in Brussels, where he will take part in the G7 summit after NATO ministerial talks.
The topic of discussion at the G7 meeting will be the situation in Ukraine. The meeting will take place in a hybrid format: live and virtual.
According to Reuters, Japan’s Foreign Affairs Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi will join the meeting by video link.
"We will exchange thoughts about how to act in order to facilitate coordination between the G7 countries on this issue," Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said about this meeting.
