General Staff: Russian soldiers are asking to go home

Conscripts in the 26th Tank Regiment and soldiers in the 47th Tank Division of the Russian army are submitting reports requesting their contracts be terminated and they be sent to a permanent posting elsewhere.

According to the General Staff: "The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to have problems with staffing their units.

For example, after their participation in the war with Ukraine, soldiers of the 26th Tank Regiment of the 47th Tank Division who signed contracts [with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation] began to submit reports requesting the termination of their contracts and asking to be allowed to continue their service at another location."
