The interim head of the Ukrainian Railway Ukrzaliznytsia Oleksandr Kamyshyn called on Russian railway workers to not carry out orders from their leadership to transport military cargo and troops to Ukraine.

A message published on the Telegram channel Zalizni zminy (Iron Changes - ed.)

"No matter what your propaganda is saying, you are bringing death, along with rockets, bombs and artillery shelling.

You can already understand the scale of the disaster that the Russian army has wrought on Ukraine's land", the statement reads.

According to Kamyshyn, Russian railroad workers will have to send home troops' remains and see "the full fury of [Ukraine's] armed forces and territorial defence units".

"If your troops start bombing railroads, it will cut off civilians from evacuation routes. And each of you will find yourself before a tribunal in The Hague," Kamyshyn wrote.

He noted that Belorussians had organized a "railway war" to not go to Ukraine. "They're not thinking about us; they're defending themselves. And they're doing the right thing," the message said.

"I am addressed the service personnel of Russian Railways troops. Stay home. There's only one destination for you from our border: Hell," he summarised.
