Ukraine will receive a total of USD 15 billion in assistance from international organisations and partner countries.
This was announced by the chairman of the National Bank Kirill Shevchenko in today’s address.
He noted that international partners have committed themselves to allocating significant amounts of funding to strengthen defence capabilities, and to support Ukraine's economy and the humanitarian crisis.
Shevchenko: "According to our estimates, the total international financial, technical and humanitarian aid reaches more than USD 15 billion, of which more than USD 5 billion goes directly to the budget."
Corrected: The NBU stressed that USD 15 billion includes both the aid that has already been received as well as what partners have pledged to provide later.
