In Kuleba’s words: "Ukraine is holding Irpin and Bucha! Women and children have just been evacuated from these cities.

Regional and local governments, territorial defence, and Ukrzaliznytsya [Ukrainian Railways] have come together to create a ‘green corridor’ [a safe passage] and evacuated almost 1,500 people via the railway.

Some 250 more people were evacuated by bus. They are currently being driven to the safer regions in the west of the country."

Details: Six trucks carrying food supplies are currently on the way to Irpin and Bucha to supply those who remain in these cities, according to Kuleba.

He added that an attempt will also be made to deliver food supplies to Gostomel, where the fighting is ongoing.
