Luhansk region: Russian troops destroy 5 more buildings in Sievierodonetsk, injuring civilians

Russian shelling in the city of Sievierodonetsk in the Luhansk region on 27 March has destroyed 5 buildings; 7 victims have been found so far, and rescue workers are continuing to clear the rubble.

According to Haidai: "Yesterday Russians once again attacked Sievierodonetsk, destroying 5 buildings; 7 victims have been found so far, but the rubble is still being cleared away."

Details: 5 apartment buildings in one of the city’s neighbourhoods came under heavy fire from the Russian army. This caused fires and extensive damage.

Two upper floors were destroyed in one of the houses, while in another two buildings, two entrances in each were almost completely destroyed.

"Seven people have already been rescued from the rubble, including several who had been injured. The search for people, including children, continues," Haidai said.

He added that another injured man was hospitalised after the shelling of Rubizhne.
