Details: People who gathered in Kherson’s Ploshcha Svobody [Freedom Square] have been deterred by neither recent kidnappings nor the use of weapons by the Russian troops against civilians.
Eyewitnesses report that the occupiers used loudspeakers to warn those who gathered in the square that protests were banned, but people have continued demonstrating to the aggressor that they are not afraid, shouting anti-Putin slogans and chanting "Kherson is Ukraine!"
In response, the Russian military began firing and using gas grenades. People report that, unfortunately, there are victims: one of the rally participants was injured in the leg. However, people are not dispersing; they are currently gathered on Myrnyi [Peaceful] Boulevard.
