Aggressors step up air terror - 6 missiles launched on Lviv but 1 aircaft lost - Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Air Force of Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down one of the invader’s aircraft on 26 March. At the same time, the invading forces fired 6 missiles at Lviv, hitting a fuel storage depot and the site of an armoured vehicle plant.

Quote: "For the second day in a row, the Russian criminal regime has been resorting to air terror - dozens of cruise and ballistic missiles are being fired at peaceful Ukrainian cities. The missiles are launched from the sea, land and air from outside Ukraine.
The Russian aggressors fired six such missiles at Lviv today, hitting a fuel storage depot and the site of an armoured vehicle plant. "
Details: "The enemy has significantly reduced air activity in Ukrainian airspace and is inflicting massive missile strikes," according to the Armed Forces.
The aggressors are actively using unmanned aerial vehicles of various types - from operational and tactical level units to quadcopters - to conduct aerial reconnaissance and reconnaissance of targets hit by missiles. However, the Armed Forces pointed out that these units are being persistently destroyed by Ukrainian Air Defence.
During the day on 26 March, the Ukrainian Air Force destroyed at least 12 UAVs of various types and 2 cruise missiles in addition to the above-mentioned aircraft.
Furthermore, soldiers from one of the Airborne Assault Troop brigades shot down three cruise missiles that were carrying death to Ukrainians using portable missile systems.

- 5 cruise missiles
