Kyiv region: artillery shelling kills 3 and wounds 6 civilians

Russian artillery strikes on Bucha and villages in the Brovary district of the Kyiv region have killed 3 civilians and wounded 6 more.

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General: "According to the investigation, artillery strikes of the occupying forces on the villages of Tarasivka, Trebukhiv, and Shevchenkove of the Brovary district, and on the town of Bucha, have killed 3 and wounded 6 peaceful civilians."
Details: The Prosecutor’s Office does not report when exactly the attacks occurred.
It is noted that Russian troops opened fire with artillery and automatic weapons on apartment buildings and private houses in the village of Andriyivka near Bucha, Bucha itself, Irpin, Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, and the villages of Tarasivka, Trebukhiv, Lukyanivka, and Shevchenkove in the Brovary district. The shells have damaged and in places completely destroyed the homes of peaceful civilians.
Occupying troops continue shelling towns and villages in the Fastiv and Vyshhorod districts of the Kyiv region.
Moreover, Russian troops have destroyed the Church of the Ascension in the village of Lukyanivka in the Brovary district, a historical monument of Ukrainian wooden architecture of the second half of the 19th century.
Under the procedural guidance of the district prosecutor’s offices of the Kyiv region, a pre-trial investigation is being carried out as part of criminal proceedings related to violations of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
