Over 7,000 people evacuated through humanitarian corridors in one day, and 37,500 in a week

7,331 people were evacuated through humanitarian corridors on Friday, with a total of 37,606 people evacuated during the week.

Details: According to Vereshchuk, two humanitarian corridors were opened on Friday, and 7,331 people have been evacuated.
Specifically, 2,800 people travelled from Mariupol to Zaporizhzhia using their own transport in one day. In addition, 4,000 Mariupol residents have been evacuated from Berdyansk using buses. The convoy of buses is currently on the way to Zaporizhzhia, Vereshchuk said.
80 tonnes of humanitarian aid have been delivered to Berdyansk.
531 people were evacuated from the city of Melitopol to Zaporizhzhia on Friday. Humanitarian aid was also delivered to the city.
"Tomorrow we are agreeing on humanitarian corridors for Mariupol and settlements in the Kyiv and Luhansk regions," the Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories said.
At the same time, a total of 18 humanitarian corridors were opened in a week, rescuing 37,606 people from blockaded towns and cities, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
In particular, 26,477 Mariupol residents have managed to leave the city for Zaporizhzhia via the humanitarian corridor.
Kyrylo Tymoshenko clarified that 699 people had been evacuated from the Zaporizhzhia region in a week, 9,488 people had been evacuated from the Kyiv region and 972 people had been evacuated from the Luhansk region.
