Kharkiv Military Administration on Russian provocations: We only defend what’s ours

Oleh Synehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said that Russia is preparing provocations in which Russian troops will shell Russian territory in order to accuse Ukraine.

According to Synehubov: "Russia prepared another round of provocations. We have information that Russian troops will attack their own territories – especially civilian infrastructure – and then accuse the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The goal of these actions by the Russian Federation is exclusively to discredit Ukraine and our defenders."
Details: Synehubov underscored that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will never strike civilian infrastructure and peaceful civilians, as do the Russians.
"We only defend what’s ours, only on our own land!" he stressed.
Background: On Monday, Vyacheslav Gladkov, the Governor of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, said that a missile launched from the territory of Ukraine exploded on his region’s territory. The Belgorod region borders the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, where Russian troops are stationed.
