According to the General Staff: "Russian occupiers, acting in contravention of international humanitarian law, continue to carry out artillery shelling, missile and air strikes to deliberately destroy the infrastructure of Ukrainian cities, while the mines they plant on the ground and the destruction of agricultural machinery threatens to disrupt the beginning of the planting season in several regions of Ukraine."
Details: General Staff added that Russian troops’ actions have not changed significantly on the Volyn, Polissya, Sivershchyna, and Tavriya fronts.
On the Slobozhansky front, the occupying troops in the town of Vovchansk organised a so-called "humanitarian mission", conspicuously distributing "humanitarian aid" to local residents, who were asked to show their Ukrainian passports and asked to sign a waiver.
In the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region, the occupying forces are trying to replenish their fuel supplies (which have been exhausted due to logistical problems) by taking the fuel away from civilians and agricultural producers.
General Staff also noted that Russia has failed to meet all its targets for an offensive operation but continues to consider the possibility of encircling separate groupings of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to put forward further ultimatums during the negotiations with Ukraine.
