The National Police is resuming its work in the city of Irpin near Kyiv.

Details: Special forces are also working together with the Ukrainian military and helping the local authorities to resume their work in the city.
At the same time, it is reported that the Russian invaders continue to mercilessly shell Irpin.

On 13 March, Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn said that 70% of the territory of the city of Irpin in the Kyiv region was under Ukrainian control. Fighting continues for the remaining 30% of the territory.
On 8 March, Markushyn said that the occupiers had threatened him and suggested that he surrender the city.
On 6 March, Russian troops fired mortars at evacuating Irpin residents, killing a family.
The towns of Vorzel and Hostomel, the cities of Bucha and Irpin, and the villages of Zabuchchia and Mykhailivka-Rubezhivka have been seized by Russian troops since the beginning of March. The occupiers have not allowed locals to leave their homes. The Russian occupiers fired at houses with various weapons.
