Russian losses in the East Ukraine in a day: 54 troops and 5 tanks

During the day, Armed Forces of Ukraine repulsed three attacks of Russian troops in the region of the operational and tactical group ‘Shid’ (‘East’ -ed.).

Details: Numerous attempts of Russian troops to break through the defences of Ukrainian forces failed. On 22 March occupants attacked Ukrainian positions three times.

Russian losses: 

• military personnel – 54 persons,
• tanks – 5 pcs (destroyed – 3 pcs, damaged – 2 pcs),
• self-propelled artillery unit – 1 pc,
• automotive equipment – 5 pcs,
• planes – 2 pcs,
• tactical drones – 2 pcs,
• special equipment – 1 pc, 
• infantry fighting vehicle (BMP-3), captured – 3 pcs.
