Yermak: You can't win a war without offensive weapons, you need a lend-lease

The head of the President's Office, Andrii Yermak, spoke at the Chatham House think tank in London and said that Ukraine needed offensive weapons, medium-range missiles and a lend-lease to fight back in the war with Russia.

Without a full lend-lease, we can only defend ourselves. But it is impossible to defend effectively for a long time without a reliable echeloned air defence system that shoots down enemy and ballistic missiles from a great distance.
However, we have not been given this. Nor have we been given fighters. They don't want to see us in NATO. This fear of escalation is understandable. But it will not save us. "
Details: According to Yermak, the Russian invaders have not achieved their goals; that’s why they are trying to provoke a humanitarian catastrophe, destroying critical civilian infrastructure and industrial potential.
The head of the President's Office added that Russia wants to destroy Ukraine - this is the only goal. Yermak considers Russia's war against Ukraine "historiosophical".
