Russians seek out new forces and are regrouping - General Staff summary

With no troops advancing on the ground, Russian forces are continuing to bomb Ukrainian towns and villages and are pulling reserves back to Ukraine's borders.

The enemy is attempting to form and move reserves to Ukraine's borders. According to available information, a combined unit of soldiers from several military units is being formed at the permanent deployment point of the 200th Separate Motorised Rifle Brigade of the Northern Fleet (Pechenga settlement).

Due to the poor staffing level of the 1st Army Corps in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Region, representatives of the Russian Federation are continuing to take active measures to forcibly conscript the local population in the cities of Horlivka, Yenakiyevo and nearby settlements.

After an accelerated training course, the invaders plan to reinforce units that suffered heavy losses near Avdiivka and Izyum with these personnel.

Details: No active offensive actions by the invading forces have been recorded on the Polessk front. Regrouping, entrenchment in the captured lines and logistical support of the troops is underway.

On the Siversk front, individual units of the Central Military District continue to regroup and concentrate forces and equipment for the resumption of offensive actions.

On the Chernihiv front, the enemy is not conducting active offensive operations and continues artillery shelling of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the city of Chernihiv. No changes in the composition of forces and nature of actions of the grouping of occupation troops have been noted.

The enemy is continuing to regroup towards Brovary with the aim of resuming offensive actions. Logistical support of the units and engineering equipment of the occupied positions is in progress.

Units of the Western Military District on the Slobozhansky front have not carried out active offensive operations. On the Kharkiv and Izyum fronts, the enemy is trying to restore the units that have lost their combat effectiveness at the expense of some units of the Baltic and Northern Fleet. Massive artillery shelling of Kharkiv continues.

On the Donetsk front, the enemy has concentrated its main efforts on capturing the towns of Rubizhne, Severodonetsk, Popasna, Ugledar and Mariupol.

The enemy took no active action in the area of Kremenna. Units of the 2nd AC continue to entrench near the village of Pshenichne.

In the vicinity of Yampol, a separate unit from the 150th Motorised Rifle Division fired on our troops to secure further advances towards Torskoye. They were unsuccessful.

The enemy attempted an offensive in the direction of Donetsk-Maryinka. It did not succeed, suffered significant losses and retreated.

The Russian occupants have attempted artillery shelling and assault of the city of Mariupol.

There are no changes in the enemy's composition and position on the Tavrian front. In the Kherson region, near the settlements of Kalanchak, Radensk, Brilovka and Tarasovka, "Rosgvardiya" [Russian Federal Guard Service] units have carried out searches for small arms storage sites.

Along the Pivdennobuzsk front, a specific group of Russian forces attempted to conduct an assault near the village of Oleksandrivka, but was unsuccessful. Near the settlement of Bereznuvat, it performed combat reconnaissance, incurred losses and withdrew.
