Humanitarian corridor for Mariupol civilians: 22 March – three assembly points

Today, on 22 March, authorities have organised another humanitarian corridor for evacuees from Mariupol, occupied Berdyansk, Yuriivka, and Nikolske to Zaporizhzhia, a city in south-eastern Ukraine. The corridor will also serve as a delivery route for humanitarian aid to Mariupol.

Details: There will be three evacuation routes from Mariupol to Zaporizhzhia today:
- Berdyansk – Zaporizhzhia. Assembly point: sports complex on Melitopolske shose street, 27
- Mangushska Gromada – Zaporizhzhia. Assembly point: village of Yuriivka of Melekinsk village council, rest home (‘pansionat’) Zmina
- Nikolske – Zaporizhzhia. Assembly point: School #2 Parkova street, 23
Buses will be provided at the assembly points from 9.00 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Quote: "We understand that we don’t have enough seats to fit everyone, and therefore we ask you to come to the buses in an organised way, and follow the instructions of our local representatives.
We assure you we won’t leave anyone behind, and will continue the evacuation daily following the same algorithm, until we evacuate everyone.
As of now, 21 buses and trucks with humanitarian aid have already left Zaporizhzhia for Mariupol.
We are resolving the issue of delivering more fuel to Berdiansk to continue filling up the cars of Mariupol evacuees for free.
