Details: The twenty-sixth day of the heroic opposition of the Ukrainian people to the Russian military invasion continues.

The situation in the following areas:

On the Donetsk front, Russian forces are conducting assault operations and fire raids along the entire line of contact. Having tried unsuccessfully to break through Ukrainian defensive positions on the Avdiivka front and suffered losses, they retreated.

On the Volyn, Polissia and Siversk fronts, Russian forces are trying to arrange engineering equipment to defend their positions and to restore the logistical support of their units.

Russian forces continue to insidiously destroy the infrastructure in the captured cities, to shell residential districts of Ukrainian cities and villages, rob, kidnap and take civilians hostage.

The aggressor is concentrating forces and means in specific areas in order to resume an attempt to carry out offensive actions.

On the Chernihiv front, the aggressor did not conduct offensive operations. They continued to fire on the positions of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and on densely populated areas of the city.

Russian forces suffered heavy losses and were stopped while attempting to attack Brovary. They are attempting to restore their combat capabilities and engineering equipment on the occupied frontiers.

Russian forces are not conducting active offensive operations on the Slobozhansk front. The blockade of the city of Sumy continues. The available Russian forces are trying to block the city of Kharkiv, firing on the defensive lines and civilian infrastructure of the Ukrainian cities of Kharkiv and Chuhuev.

Russian occupiers continue to make significant efforts to establish control over the city of Izyum, and their troops are being dispersed in the area. They are trying to strengthen the group and arrange a line of strongholds.

In the Pivdennyy Buh direction, the aggressor is trying to hold the previously occupied frontiers and taking measures to restore their combat capabilities and replenish supplies.
