Russia is panicking and has started searching for manpower reserves - pulling everything out of the Pacific area and continuing to persuade the Collective Security Treaty Organisation countries."
Background: The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation announced that on 8 February, the Russian military used the hypersonic Kinzhal missile system to destroy the underground military warehouse in the west of Ukraine.
US officials have confirmed that last week, Russia launched hypersonic missiles against Ukraine.
On 20 March, the Ministry of Defence of Russia reported that allegedly there was one more from airspace over Crimea – it was claimed that the Kinzhal complexes destroyed the fuel and the lubricant storage area in the Mykolayiv area.
Details: According to Russian media, the Kinzhal (‘Dagger’) missile is an air-to-ground system with a high-precision hypersonic aeroballistic missile. It is based on an upgraded MiG-3 long-range fighter-interceptor – the MiG-31K.
According to the Russian military, it is capable of hitting targets at a range of more than 2,000 km and is also guaranteed to overcome all air and missile defence systems.
