Summary by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: on the Izyum front, Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed invading assault units

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is reporting on hostilities in all operational areas. In particular, the Armed Forces repulsed an attack by invaders on the Izyum front and destroyed Russian assault units.

Quote: "On the Izyum front, the enemy tried to break through the defences of Ukrainian troops, but was unsuccessful; the invader’s assault units were practically destroyed."

Details: Toward the south, the front line of defence has been restored along some frontiers. The Russian invading forces have been forced to regroup, deploy additional reserves and take measures to restore units’ combat capability.

On the Donetsk front, Russian occupying forces are conducting assaults and shelling.

In the Volyn and Polissya area, the Russian invaders have not been engaged in direct action but are building up their arms, engineering support and logistics in preparation for the assault on the city of Kyiv.

No offensive operations are currently underway on the Siversk and Kharkiv fronts. Russian invading forces are shelling Ukrainian settlements.
