The General Staff announces Russia’s losses in the war: 44 air defence systems, 210 aircraft and helicopters

In more than 23 days of war, around 14,400 Russian troops, 72 multiple launch rocket systems, 44 air defence systems, almost a hundred aircraft and more than a hundred helicopters have been destroyed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Details: Calculation of Russian losses is complicated due to the high intensity of hostilities.
Russia's total combat estimated losses from 24 February till 19 March are approximately:
- around 14,400 troops,
- 466 tanks,
- 1470 armoured combat vehicles,
- 213 artillery systems,
- 72 multiple launch rocket systems,
- 44 air defence systems,
- 95 aircraft,
- 115 helicopters,
- 914 motor vehicles,
- 3 boats/cutters,
- 60 fuel tanks,
- 17 operational-tactical UAVs,
- 11 special vehicles.
