The number of Ukrainians who have crossed the Polish border since 24 February has reached 2 million people, according to Polish border guards, as cited in Evropeyska Pravda.

As of 9:00 on 18 March, the number of refugees from Ukraine has reached 2 million people, predominantly women and children.

This number includes those who do not intend to stay in Poland but will travel on to other European countries.

Last week, Warsaw and Krakow were already reporting that capacity in the two cities is under strain, and they are on the verge of not being able to accommodate fresh arrivals.

The Czech Republic and Estonia are reporting similar problems. Over 200,000 Ukrainians are currently on the territory of the Czech Republic and 19,000 are planning to stay in Estonia.
