Fire on Barabashovo in Kharkiv contained: 10 houses were saved

Firefighters have managed to contain the fire at the largest market in Europe - Kharkiv's "Barabashovo" - and save 10 private houses nearby from destruction.

Terekhov's quote: "The fire in "Barabashovo" has been contained. In addition to "Barabashovo", administrative buildings were struck during the night and the morning. More than 700 buildings have already been destroyed in Kharkiv. The shelling is incessant. But despite this, Kharkiv was, is and will be Ukrainian. Kharkiv is holding on. Ukraine will win."

Primush’s quote: "The situation in the Kharkiv region is extremely difficult. Our firefighters have been working on extinguishing the fire in "Barabashovo" for almost 24 hours. It covers 7,000 square metres. So far we have managed to contain the fire. And to save ten private houses nearby.

Russian occupying forces are ignoring the Geneva Convention. Rescuers are being fired upon during the rescue operations. This is not an isolated case, it is happening across the country. 19 rescuers have already died in the line of duty."

Details: The mayor of Kharkiv described the situation in the city. Communal workers are working under continuous fire. Water, heat and electricity supplies continue. On Friday, 102 vehicles left the city, transporting garbage from all districts of Kharkiv.

City hospitals are working. They are provided with medicines. Terekhov said that he had talked with the mayor of Chicago: Kharkiv has been sent $800,000 worth of medicines for injured people.

More than 60 schools have been destroyed. Education has been suspended. Children who have left Kharkiv have the opportunity to study in other regions of Ukraine.
