Biggest market in Eastern Europe catches on fire after Kharkiv shelling, rescuer died

The Barabashovo market in Kharkiv was shelled by Russian troops and caught on fire as a result.

Details: According to available information, the fire engulfed the market stalls, with the black smoke rising over Kharkiv. Shells from the Grad volley fire system were found near the site of the fire.
Significance: The Barabashovo market is the largest open-air markets in Eastern Europe and one of the largest in the world. About 15,000 entrepreneurs work there.
Update: Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov reported that a SES staff member, who had been dealing with the consequences of shelling in the city, passed away on Thursday.
Update: The fire spread at private residential buildings (the number is currently being verified) as of 19:00. About 70 people and 21 SES equipment units were involved in the fire suppression.
