Five dead people found under the rubble of a dormitory in Chernihiv

Rescuers found the bodies of three small children and two parents from the rubble of a dormitory in Chernihiv which had been shelled by the Russian military the day before.

SES’s quote: "During the dismantling of structures, rescuers found a family of 5, including 3 children (a boy and girl twins of 3 years) and a 12-year-old older sister and their parents."

Details: The SES noted that they all died as a result of an air strike on the dormitory.

Background: As a result of the shelling of Chernihiv by Russian occupation forces on March 16, 53 people died.
