Russia is continuing to suffer casualties in its war of invasion in Ukraine - as of the 22nd day of the war, some 14,000 invaders have been killed and the Russian army has lost hundreds of pieces of equipment.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff noted that casualty figures are being confirmed. Calculation of the figures is complicated by the high intensity of combat operations.
