Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on the international community to increase sanctions on Russia after a targeted bomb attack on the Mariupol Drama Theater, where hundreds of civilians were sheltered.

Details: Russia committed another war crime by conducting a deliberate targeted bomb attack on the site of a mass gathering of civilians, the agency added.

Background:

Russian aircraft dropped a powerful bomb on the premises of Mariupol Drama Theatre on March 16. The theater building was a place of refuge for hundreds of Mariupol residents who lost their homes as a result of Russian army bombing and shelling of the city.
