According to Zelenskyy: "I hope that on Wednesday the long-awaited escape from the city of Izyum in the Kharkiv region will finally take place for the people of Izyum. A humanitarian corridor had been agreed.

Over the course of the last 24 hours, 28,893 Ukrainians have been saved from the areas of hostilities in the Sumy, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions.

20,000 of them had finally been able to leave Mariupol. So far, only those in private vehicles. The situation there will be difficult. We are fighting for you. We are very sorry, it is very difficult."
