Ukrainian Parliament extends martial law for 30 days

The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada (parliament) has approved a presidential decree extending martial law in Ukraine from 5:30 a.m. on 26 March for another 30 days - until 25 April.

Details: The head of the Ukrainian Parliament said that at a meeting on 15 March, members of parliament passed 21 laws relating to the regulation of public relations related to martial law in Ukraine.
According to Stefanchuk: "Today all decisions were adopted by a constitutional majority (from 334 to 340 votes). The first issue we considered today was the extension of martial law for another 30 days. We approved the relevant presidential decree".
