Shelling causes large fire in Kharkiv, 7 victims found under the rubble

On 14 March, rescue workers rescued 3 people from under the rubble and found 7 more people who had been killed under the wrecked buildings across different neighbourhoods of Kharkiv. On the night of 14-15 March, there was a large fire in Kharkiv.

Details: Emergency rescue operations were carried out on 14 March in the Kyivsky, Shevchenkivky, and Novobarsky neighbourhoods of Kharkiv, as well as in the Izyum part of the Kharkiv region.
That day, rescuers saved 3 people from underneath the rubble. They found and retrieved from under the wrecked elements of construction 7 more people, all already dead.
Around 23:30 on the night of 14 March, Russian shells have damaged market squares and residential buildings in the Kholodnohirsky district of Kharkiv. The buildings caught on fire that quickly spread across a large area. Nearly 20 branches of the fire and rescue service of the State Emergency Service were involved in extinguishing the fire.
In all, on 14 March, the rescuers attended to 34 sites where they extinguished fires and dismantled the rubble of destroyed buildings.
The pyrotechnic units of the SES had to dispose of unexploded ordnance in 34 further sites.
