Russia’s main TV channel broadcast disrupted by "No War" protest

A woman was urging TV viewers not to believe the Russian propaganda had entered the studio during the broadcast of the main pro-government newscast, Vremya. The protester held a large sign with anti-war slogans right behind the news anchor’s back.

Details: Sobchak said that many Russian TV viewers saw the anti-war protest, sending her recordings of it as proof. She published these clips on her Telegram channel Ostorozhno, novosti [literally Careful, news].

The protester’s sign read: "NO WAR. Stop the war. Don’t believe in propaganda. You’re being lied to here."

The woman holding the sign shouted, "No to the war!"

According to Sobchak: "Readers sent me recordings of the broadcast from several different angles; therefore, it is unlikely that this is a fake."
