Kazakhstan's president, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has banned the export of foreign currency and gold bars worth more than 10000 USD at the rate of the National Bank on the date of export.
This is stated in his decree.
A ban on the export of gold bars of refined gold weighing 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 grams, investment coins made of Altyn Barys gold and Kumis Barys silver issued by the National Bank, as well as refined gold over 100 grams.
