Russians have already recruited more than a thousand Syrian mercenaries – General Staff

Russian troops are forming detachments of mercenaries who are ready to carry out the criminal orders of Russian commanders for a reward.

According to the General Staff: "According to available information, mercenary recruitment centres have been opened in Syria, where more than a thousand people have been recruited over the past few days, and about 400 people have already arrived in Russia."

Details: Camps to house and train Syrian mercenaries have been set up near the Ukrainian border in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation and in the Gomel region of Belarus."

Background: Ukrainian intelligence previously reported that Russian occupying forces have opened 14 mercenary recruitment centres in Syria for the war against Ukraine.
