A missile was shot down in Kyiv, wreckage destroyed a residential building, one person died

Anti-aircraft defence shot down a missile in Kyiv. Its wreckage fell on a residential neighbourhood and destroyed a five-storey building.

Details: It is noted that the missile wreckage fell in Kyiv, near Kurenivka.

Herashchenko confirms that he saw the missile being shot down.

Klitschko, the Mayor of Kyiv, said that missile wreckage fell onto the road. One person was killed and six were injured, with two taken away by ambulance.

An empty tram was completely destroyed. Windows were shattered, the balconies of the nearest houses and commercial premises on the ground floors were damaged.
