Air-raid sirens sounded in most regions of Ukraine on the night of 13-14 March, with Russian forces continuing to bomb Chernihiv, Sumy region, Zhytomyr region, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv.

Kyiv region

Air raids sirens wailed across the region. Fighting in Irpin and Makarov. Movement of Russian equipment has been recorded in the settlements of Baryshivska, Kalytianska, Velykodimerska and Kalynivka. There is intermittent fighting in the villages of these communities. Authorities are preparing to continue with evacuations.

Chernihiv region

Defensive fighting near the city of Chernihiv. Russian forces carried out 3 air raids on Chernihiv overnight. Information on the extent of the destruction is being clarified.

Most of the city is without heat, some districts have been without power for three days, and some suburbs have been without power for five or more days. Part of the city is without water. The city' utilities services are working to restore the networks, sometimes under fire from the Russians.

Sumy region

The night began with the aerial bombardment of Okhtyrka. Residential buildings have been hit, details are being clarified. Several hours of air-raid sirens during the night.

Green corridors have been negotiated on, but so far none of the evacuation routes have been agreed upon.

Zhytomyr region

An air-raid siren sounded virtually throughout the night. In the village of Stavyshche, a missile strike destroyed 7 buildings and damaged 5 residential buildings. 4 people were injured, and 14 evacuated from the affected houses.

Kharkiv

The shelling of residential areas, including Saltivka and Novy Budynki, continued overnight. The number of casualties has not yet been established. There was active fighting across the region in the direction of Izium. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are gradually pushing the invader out.

Zaporizhzhia region

There is currently no significant change in the situation on the Zaporizhzhia front. Russian forces are trying to gain a foothold on the borders of the temporarily occupied territories, but they are prevented from carrying out such plans by residents and the military stationed in the Zaporizhzhia region. For example, in one of the areas where military operations were being conducted, a Russian mortar detachment was found and a stock of equipment was hit by an artillery strike. Apart from Russian military equipment, our military has also shelled a train carrying Russian ammunition.

Rivne region

A TV tower has been hit. Television and radio are not working. The number of casualties is being established.

Volyn

The night was relatively quiet.

Air raids in Zakarpattia, Vinnitsa, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, Poltava, Kirovograd regions, Dnipropetrovsk, Ternopil, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk. 

Luhansk region

Severodonetsk is under constant shelling, with 18 hits to residential buildings in a day. Rubizhne is the most dangerous zone. The evacuation of 1,600 people was managed through a humanitarian corridor.

Donetsk region

Since midnight there has been an intensification of aircraft activity, and an attempted breakthrough in the Mariinsky district.

A private house in Kramatorsk has burned down as a result of shelling– there are casualties. The Russians hit the Avdiivka Coke Plant with Grads. The occupiers entered Volnovakha. There is no change in Mariupol, where the situation is the most difficult.

Mykolaiv region

There was shelling all night long in Mykolaiv. In Snuhyrivka, private houses were destroyed by shelling. The number of casualties is being established.

Kherson region

Heavy explosions were heard in Kherson during the evening and overnight.

Odesa

Calm in general. The air-raid siren sounded for several hours.

Kyiv

An artillery shell hit a nine-storey building at 20 Bogatyrska Street in the Obolonskyi district of the capital, killing one person. Russian troops also shelled the Antonov plant.
