Artillery shell hits 9-storey apartment building in Kyiv, two dead

An Artillery shell has hit a nine-storey apartment building in the Obolon’ district of Kyiv, killing two people.

Details: The building was partially destroyed between the ground floor and the second floor, and a fire broke out on the second and third floors.

There were three victims, and 17 people rescued from under the rubble.

Updated. Initially one fatality was known, but later the State Emergency Service reported two deaths. Three people have been hospitalised.

The building is located at 20 Bohatyrska Street, Kyiv.
