According to Ukraintseva: "We have actually had a week of this occupation, these mugs, these Bashkirs, these Buryats, it’s just disgusting to see them. We have already talked to them, they are very scared and demoralised."

Details: Ukraintseva noted that being in Bucha is extremely difficult now, and there are very few people left. She compared Bucha to Prypyat [a ghost town deserted in the wake of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster].

Background: Bucha is one of several towns near Kiev that is captured by the troops of the Russian Federation. They do not allow locals to leave their houses. From time to time, houses are shelled by occupiers with various weapons. For almost a week, no supplies have been delivered to the villages, the occupiers are blocking all possible routes for water, food, and medicine to be delivered.
