Russia has thwarted evacuation efforts from the town of Izyum in the Kharkiv region.

According to Synehubov: "Today Russia has thwarted evacuation from Izyum. We organised 20 buses and made all the necessary arrangements. A "green corridor" was created, but due to the occupiers’ fire it never began functioning."

Details: Synehubov said that electricity, heating, water, and service were cut off in Izyum.

In the village of Oskil in the Izyum district, where the Oskil psychoneurological "internat" was shelled, the occupiers have also destroyed 5 private houses.

Earlier: On 10 March, the Russian Federation failed to meet the conditions of the "green corridor" and began shelling the residents of Izyum during the evacuation. Despite this, more than 1,600 people were evacuated and humanitarian cargo from Kharkiv was delivered.

On 9 March, nearly 5,000 Izyum residents could not be evacuated due to shelling.
