Night in the regions: homes were hit in the settlement Baryshivka, a retirement home is on fire in the town of Rubizhne

Last night, the Russian military fired rockets at the settlement of Baryshivka in Kyiv region, hitting the residential area. Fighting continued in the outer suburbs of Kyiv. The Russian invaders bombed the cities of Chernihiv and Lebedyn, and in the morning there were strikes on the cities of Lutsk, Ivano-Frankivsk and Dnipro.

Details: Kyiv region. Fighting is taking place in the towns of Irpin, Makariv and near the settlement of Borodyanka. Belogorod and Bucha municipalities were shelled. Rockets hit the residential area of Baryshivka settlement in Brovary district. The information is being confirmed.

The region is preparing to evacuate the populations of the most endangered settlements.

Chernihiv region. At night, Russian aircraft bombed Chernihiv twice. In addition to destruction of residential areas, a large water supply system was damaged, and the water supply to the city has been cut off. Other damage and the number of victims are still being investigated.

Part of the city is without heating and more than half  without electricity. The utility providers are repairing their networks continuously.

On 10 March, multiple self-propelled "Uragan" rocket systems shelled the city of Nizhyn, killing two and wounding eight.

Defencive  operations are under way near Chernihiv, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces made several successful counterattacks in the direction of Kyiv in the past 24 hours.

Sumy region. The city of  Lebedyn was bombed again at night. According the regional administrator, Russian aircraft are dropping bombs on residential areas and critical infrastructure every night.

Kharkiv region. During the night, the Russian invaders hit the power substation in Pyatihatki in Kharkiv, and the fire spread to a nearby dormitory. According to preliminary data, no one was injured.

Fighting with the Russian military continues in some areas of the region.

Zaporizhzhia region. The situation is under control. The radiation levels in the region remain within safety limits.

Donetsk region. The city of Kramatorsk is  quiet. In the town of Svitlodars'k, the Russian military damaged a high-pressure gas pipeline.

"Mariupol is under siege. It is still ours. The city remains in a difficult situation," the regional military administration said.

Luhansk region. Multiple rocket launchers continue to shell the cities of Severodonetsk and Rubizhne. In Severodonetsk, there are many fires in residential buildings. In Rubizhne, a retirement home is on fire. The gas pipeline is damaged.

The non-potable water supply has been re-established in the cities of Lysychansk and Hirsky, where it was interrupted for a long time.

Dnipropetrovsk region. Air raid sirens sounded  for almost three hours. Three air strikes hit the city. According to preliminary information, one person has been killed.

 Zhytomyr region. Air raid sirens sounded three times during the night. There is currently no information on the destruction or losses.

Ivano-Frankivsk. The night was relatively calm, with the air raid siren sounding once. This morning, there have been three air strikes in the city.

Volyn region. At 05:45 this morning local time, there were explosions at the airfield near the city of Lutsk. The emergency services are putting out fires. Preliminary information suggests that these were missile strikes, and there are victims.

Kherson region. The night was calm in the city of Kherson; however, there were strong explosions in the morning.

In Mykolaiv, Odessa and other regions, the situation is quiet, although air raid sirens sounded in some places.
