Ministry of Digital Transformation purchases aid for the Ukrainian Armed Forces using cryptocurrency

The Ukrainian military has purchased essential equipment using money from the cryptocurrency community, raised through an initiative by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The funds raised were used to purchase 5,550 sets of body armour and 500 plates for them, 3125 sets of thermal imaging and night optics equipment, 3,427 medical supplies, 410,000 dry rations, 500 helmets, and 60 walkie-talkies.
"This list will continue to grow in the future. Funds collected by CryptoFund will also be spent on: counteracting Russian propaganda, a worldwide communication campaign spreading the truth about events in Ukraine, cybersecurity and recovery of digital infrastructure, providing additional protection and migration of registers, and the purchase of special technical equipment and hardware", - reads the message.
