Details: Russian tanks are advancing towards Kyiv, but a battle broke out near Ivankiv.
Ukrainian forces blew up a bridge to stop the Russian advance.
Why this matters: Ivankiv is located halfway to Kyiv’s borders [to the northwest of Kyiv]. Past Ivankiv, it becomes possible to attack Kyiv via Vyshgorod [immediately to the north of Kyiv].
