Ukrzaliznytsia Blames Militants for Train Shelling

Ukrzaliznytsia [Eng.: Ukrainian Railways] reported that its train was shelled by militants on August 8 at Skotuvata station in Donetska Oblast. In particular, they fired at two locomotives. Panes were broken and the brake system was damaged as shells exploded some 25 meters from the train. There were no injuries.

Ukrzaliznytsia also stressed that, along with the Energy Ministry, it is implementing the priority task of the government to secure coal transportation to thermal power plants.
